Well, as you know, we're at Cityscape Global 2025.
We've been covering everything real estate.
We're bringing something a little bit different.
We're at the Ministry of Pavilion that covers everything that keeping the country safe, that's roads, passports across the different spectrums.
Right now I have the.
Spokesman of National Center for Security Operations Captain Abdulaziz with us.
Welcome to the show.
Well, Captain, tell us a little bit about your role and some of the things that you're doing to keep everything safe.
Well, uh, first, uh, I would like to talk about the Ministry of Interior's pavilion.
Here we are participating to show the people what's the most advanced technologies we have to keep, to keep them safe.
First, I would like to welcome you and the Minister of Interior's pavilion here in the Cityscape Global exhibition and the Minister of Interior's pavilion.
We are showing the people the advanced technologies we have to keep them safe.
And here we have different, different security sectors participating.
Each sector is showing what what technologies they have and how they are making our country safe and secure.
Well, fascinating for us, particularly as FinTech TV, as we're always covering the latest in technologies, artificial intelligence, drones, everything goes in and how you've incorporated.
I know there's a lot of it that you can't speak to specifically given permissioning, but I'd love to walk and maybe we can continue to talk as we see some of the great advancements that's being utilized here.
Yes, please, come on.
So what do you attribute so much of this safety to in the country when we look at Saudi Arabia, particularly compared to areas of the US where there's such a low crime rate?
Well, I'll start by talking about the National Center for Security Operations.
The center has something called the Unified Security Operations Center, 911.
And, uh, 4 regions till now, uh, Mecca region, and Medina region, Riyadh region, and the eastern region.
Each center is responsible for answering the 911 calls in the region.
We answer all the calls in less than 2 seconds.
That's incredible.
Yeah, because we have a very advanced system.
As soon as we get a call, 3 main information show up the name, the number, and the location of the caller, which makes our job easier.
And we send the report, if there was a report, to the specialized security entity in less than 45 seconds.
Which, which gives a quick and very fast response to the call, and that's part of the role that you oversee in kind of the technologies that go into that rapid response.
Yes, yes, and technology is not everything.
Because technologies could be useless without the right human resources working on them.
So we make sure that we hire qualified, educated people to deal with that causes.
In 911 centers, we have a lot of people speak more than one language.
We answer all the calls in female languages Arabic, English, and French.
We also have courses for our employees.
Learning other languages like Spanish, uh, we also have, uh, people learning Chinese, uh, to make sure that we can give or provide the best services to everyone.
Incredibly inclusive, Captain.
Do you mind if we walk and maybe pass some of the other greatest technologies that I know you can't speak to, but we'd we'd love to highlight it as part of our journey here.
Are there any other advancements that you're working with, Captain, to continue the safety?
Well, I would like to talk more about the Unified Security Operations Center 911, please, because we are not finished yet.
Oh, no, great, let's continue.
We'll walk on our journey, because Here in Saudi, the Unified Security Operations Center 911 is not just about answering calls.
Oh, interesting.
Yes, we have a hall called the CCTV hall.
Their job is to monitor all the CCTV cameras in the region.
And as soon as they see something, they can send it as a report to the specialized entities without even getting a call.
So this is an advance.
We also have another call, call the dispatching hall.
In that hall we have more than 10 security entities.
We also have more than 8 public sectors.
So like the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Transportation.
Uh, the Saudi Electricity Company, uh, the National Company of water, we also have the ambulance.
So 911 center is not just about security and reports.
We also have, we also provide different services.
That's why we have so many agencies and security sectors working side by side to provide the best and to provide the best.
Service to the people calling 911.
It seems incredible.
I didn't think about that from the onset of 9/11 being so encompassing, but I gather that's why it's so effective in your timeliness across the spectrum with everybody working together.
We also have a hall called the Crisis Management Hall.
We use that hall to manage all's big events like the cityscape global exhibition.
So what we have is, uh, what we use the the hall for is to, it's like a smaller operational room where we have all the security and governmental and public sectors working side by side.
To make sure that this exhibition goes smoothly and safe for everyone, well, the logistics here have been just absolutely outstanding given the amount of people.
I think it's 170,000, so very well tuned.
Just before we close out, Captain, anything else that you want to share with us on the 911 systems?
If you have any problem here in Saudi, please don't hesitate to call 911, and we will be at your service.
I appreciate it, sir, and thank you for spending the time with us.
Yeah, of course.
Thank you.
Thank you.
