FINTECH.TV Launching Exclusive Africa Content on Digital Media Platform
FINTECH.TV’s global expansion continues with FINTECH.TV Africa is launching in October. The 20-minute business program covers exponential leaders in fintech, blockchain, and ESG investment sectors.
The show will be hosted by Irene Kiwia, a tech entrepreneur and well-known television host based in Kenya. “I’m excited to anchor this new program and highlight the great visionaries and companies that are all over Africa. This program will show the world that many regions in Africa are technology-hubs and deserve recognition for their contributions to the global technological transformation.”
In the first FINTECH.TV Africa segment, Dr. Jacques Ludik, Founder & Group CEO of Cortex Group about Artificial Intelligence (AI) potential use cases in Africa, including precision medicine, virtual consultation, and high-quality personalized education.
FINTECH.TV Africa will begin with production from Kenya, Tanzania, Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt, and Rwanda. Proposal for Transparency in ESG
During climate week, Moody’s Investors Service published a request for comment to the market on proposed ESG scores for all rated issuers. To discuss the proposed scores' details, our host Jeff Gitterman is joined by Swami Venkataraman, Senior Vice President in Moody’s Investors Service Environmental, Social, and Governance group.

Kraken: A New Era for Banking

In this segment from Digital Asset Report, our host Vince Molinari has an engaging and insightful conversation with Dan Held, a serial bitcoin entrepreneur with two exits; ZeroBlock, acquired by Blockchain.com, and Interchange, acquired by Kraken.
Dan Held currently works as the Growth Lead for Kraken Digital Asset Exchange, the first cryptocurrency firm in the U.S., to become a bank.
"By becoming a bank, we get direct access to federal payments infrastructure, and we can more seamlessly integrate banking and funding options for customers," said David Kinitsky, a managing director at Kraken and the CEO of the newly formed Kraken Financial.
Dan was one of the earliest supporters of this wild new concept of cryptocurrency. He was one of only 12 people who showed up at the first Bitcoin meetup.
During the 2013 Bitcoin bubble, where Bitcoin's value skyrocketed from $100 to $1,200, there was Dan decided to develop a real-time market price tracking application designed specifically for Bitcoin called ZeroBlock.
Today, Dan Held works as the head of growth for digital exchange at Kraken. There he specializes in helping new customers grow through the process from the moment they hear of the brand to make their first Bitcoin trade online.
