Ms. Pether has been in Abu Dhabi since 2008, having originally trained as a journalist in her native New Zealand and then spending six years working for the BBC in the United Kingdom.
Rachel spent almost a decade at Mubadala Investment Company – one of the Middle East’s largest sovereign wealth funds – in their Capital Markets & Treasury team. A CFA Charterholder and chartered treasurer, in 2014 the Association of Corporate Treasurers named her “The One to Watch” in Treasury. Ms. Pether currently acts as a Senior Advisor to SkyBridge Capital, a global alternative investment firm, and is the host of SALT Talks, a series of digital interviews with the world’s foremost investors, creators and thinkers.”
