Well, going public right here at the Exchange today is Angel Studios, the independent film distribution studio is recognized for Christian themed films and series with notable titles, including Cabrini.
Angel Studios is being valued at $1.6 billion as it goes public.
The independent.
Values driven media companies Q2 2025 revenue climbing over 500% year over year to over $46.8 million.
Now it also enjoyed a global base of 1.5 million members across 180 countries deciding which films get made.
The company is building a Bitcoin treasury as well as a for-profit endowment for the arts to expand to international markets.
Joining me live here at the New York Stock Exchange today is Neil Harman, co-founder and CEO of Angel Studios.
Neil, thank you so much for joining me today.
Thank you for having me on, Remy.
Well, there is a lot going on in the world right now this year more so than seemingly any other year.
So tell me why you chose the president to go public.
Well, Today's a somber morning, and Charlie was a very good friend.
He helped Angel a great deal.
He loved Angel, and uh, I honestly just wanted to go home after hearing the news yesterday, um, but if there's ever a time that we need stories that unite us.
To make the world a better place.
It's now and so um.
Yeah, ANGX is a symbol of that movement of over 1.5 million families who are trying to tell stories that amplify light that are values driven.
Yeah, and Neil, I am very sorry for your loss and as we mark the 24th anniversary of 9/11, there's so much for us to digest.
So when it comes to entertainment as well as productions, give us an idea for viewers out there who may not be familiar with what you mean by light.
Oh yeah, so, you know, Hollywood has crowned.
Annora, Parasite, Moonlight with Best Picture, which is fine, but families like ours, millions of families out there, we're wondering where the next generation version of 12 Angry Men or Sound of Music or I love that show Swiss Family Robinson.
So Angel is flipping the script and 1.5 million people in the audience are choosing green lighting what we release.
So we just said we're going to ask families what they want and give that to them.
Yeah, and Neil, we were looking at your content.
We also noticed that you have shows for children and even about Bitcoin.
So tell us how this came to be.
So Tuttle Twins is one of the most popular shows on Angel, and it's the story of two children with a Cuban grandmother who understands how important freedom is and so they go on these, she has a time traveling wheelchair and they go on these journeys and they learn about liberty and economics and capitalism and the benefits of those to society and it's a really, really fun show and they have a couple of episodes in there where they explain Bitcoin and hard money.
Yeah, and speaking of which, we're here at the New York Stock Exchange talking about this, but when we're talking about the economics, the business model for Angel Studios, we know that independent studio space is a very competitive one.
So what are you doing differently?
So what we do differently is we have a community of guild members, 10 1.5 million members and growing over 180 countries, and they are our green light committee.
They get to decide what comes to Angel and they pick stories that are values driven and that amplify light.
Some of the movies that we have coming out, we have a sports movie starring Michael Chilis.
We have a rom-com starring Kevin James, and we have Young Washington coming out July 4th, 2026 on the 250 year anniversary of America, and it's one of the stars is Kelsey Grammer.
Well, that sounds like a very exciting lineup.
So Neil, finally, before I let you go, I do want to ask you, now that you're listed here, what are you going to do next?
Oh, what happens here today doesn't really matter in 6 months.
We're after something that's timeless, that solves a problem that we need to solve for our families, for our children and our grandchildren, and it just so happens there are millions of other families that want this problem solved.
So we're in the For the long haul, what happens here in 6 months won't really matter.
What will matter is how these stories unite our culture.
Well, Neil, great having you here at the New York Stock Exchange.
Thank you so much for joining me today and thank you so much for sharing your perspective.
Thank you.
